For me it was predictable in places, with few twists and turns, hardly any plots or build up. It missed that lack of connection I normally have with characters which draw you in. At first it was an overload of descriptive writing and seemed to be dragging out the story line. Starts off slow, read the reviews and hoped they were correct, kicks in around chapter five. Ruby's palace & ruthless were my favourites, this one is classed as a thriller, unsure why?
